About Riley
Riley began as a sports shop in Manchester and went on to make snooker and billiard tables at its works in Accrington, Lancashire. After Riley went into administration in 2002, BCE bought the brand. Riley and BCE are now run from the same base in Caldicot, Monmouthshire.
What is Riley known for?
Riley is best known for snooker tables. Its Aristocrat Tournament Champion was the official table for World Snooker ranking events from 1992. Today the Riley name is also on snooker and pool cues and cue care, including a cue range endorsed by Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Which Riley range suits you?
Moderno. A 57in 2-piece cue with an ash shaft, a 9.5mm tip and a weight of 17-19oz. Moderno 1 has an ebonised butt with a red decal design and a spiral brass joint. Moderno 2 has a four-point decal design and a rapid-release joint, which comes apart in a fraction of a turn. The Moderno WAC has a black and silver butt with Riley's weight-adjustable system.
ROS. Riley's Ronnie O'Sullivan range: a 57in 2-piece ash cue with a 9.5mm tip, 17-19oz, a stained wood butt with ROS graphics and a leather bumper.
ASi WAC. A 57in 2-piece ash cue with Riley's ASi anti-shock grip section, a stainless steel rapid-release joint and ferrule, and the WAC weight-adjustable butt.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Riley?
BCE, which bought the Riley brand in 2002. Both brands are run from Caldicot, Wales.
What is the Riley ROS cue?
Riley's Ronnie O'Sullivan range. The ROS we stock is a 57in 2-piece ash cue with a 9.5mm tip and ROS graphics on the butt.
What does WAC mean on a Riley cue?
Weight-adjustable cue. Weight can be added to or taken out of the butt, so the cue can be set heavier or lighter. We stock it in the Riley Moderno WAC and ASi WAC.
Is the Riley Centurion a snooker cue?
No. The Centurion is an American pool cue with a 13mm tip, made for 2-1/4in balls. For snooker or English eight-ball, choose a Riley cue with a 9.5mm tip, such as the Moderno or ROS.
How do I use the Riley Q-Wiz?
Run the smoothing side along the shaft in long, light strokes, then finish with the polishing side. Wash it when it gets dirty and reuse it.
