Description

The Dufferin HCY is a 57in two-piece cue in solid ash, offered in six colourways from plain brown through to yellow and orange. Solid ash gives the shaft its stiffness and the visible straight grain that snooker and English billiards players sight along.

The joint is where this cue earns its place: a solid brass joint and pin rather than a plated or composite fitting, which keeps the two halves precisely aligned and stays tight over years of assembly. A brass ferrule carries the 9mm Elkmaster tip, a soft leather tip that grips chalk and lets a player apply side and screw. Finished in Dufferin's scratch-resistant high gloss.

I like the way the grains in the wood line up, the wood is solid, the cue is very well made, quite precise to use (I think this is because it is pointier/thinner near the tip than the regular pub style cues I already have).
