About Pot Black
About Pot Black
Pot Black covers the everyday gear for a home or club table: cues, rests, balls, a triangle, a table brush and a kit for repairing a cue tip.
What is Pot Black known for?
Pot Black is known for cues and the accessories that go with them. Most of the Pot Black cues we stock are ash, with the Jarrah in both 1-piece and 2-piece versions.
Which Pot Black range suits you?
Cues. The Jarrah comes as a 1-piece ash cue for a home or club rack and as a 2-piece ash cue that splits for carrying. The Shark, Sovereign and Tornado are 2-piece ash cues, and the Blue Viper and Embassy are 2-piece cues.
Rests. The X Rest and Spider Rest are rest heads; the Spider Rest raises the cue over a ball in the way. The 2-Piece 57" Rest Handle unscrews in the middle for storage.
Kelly pool. In Kelly pool, each player draws a numbered marble in secret and tries to pot the ball with that number. The Kelly Pool Bottle & Marbles and Kelly Pool Marbles cover the draw, and the Standard 2" Kelly Pool Ball Set has the balls.
Case and table accessories. The 2-Piece Simulated Leather Hard Cue Case fits a cue that splits in the middle. The Cue Repair Kit is for replacing a cue tip, the 15 Ball Wooden Triangle racks a 15-ball game, and the 9" Table Brush clears chalk dust from the cloth.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Pot Black Jarrah cue 1-piece or 2-piece?
Both. We stock the Jarrah as a 1-piece ash cue and as a 2-piece ash cue.
How do you play Kelly pool?
Each player draws a numbered marble from the bottle and keeps it hidden. Players take turns, and the first to pot the ball matching their number wins. The Pot Black Kelly Pool Bottle & Marbles has what you need for the draw.
What is an X rest?
A rest head shaped like an X, screwed onto a rest handle. It supports the cue for shots you can't reach with a normal bridge hand.
