Description

The Mitchell 12in to 18in Telescopic Extension fits the butt of a cue and adds reach. It measures 12in closed and extends to any length up to 18in, so the amount of extra reach can be set to the shot rather than being fixed.

That adjustability is the practical advantage over a fixed mini butt. A short extension keeps the cue's balance close to normal for a shot just out of range; a longer setting covers a shot well up the table. Both are preferable to playing a stretched shot off the rest, where the cue action is unfamiliar and accuracy drops. It fits cues with a butt end joint.
