Description

The Universal 9 Ball 111-2 is a 58in two-piece cue with a naturally stained birdseye maple forearm and buttsleeve. Universal built their name on shaft technology that went beyond simple deflection reduction, and the range has been reintroduced.

Birdseye maple is figured timber — the flecked pattern is a natural feature of the grain rather than a print — and it is used here on both the forearm and buttsleeve. The 13mm tip is American pool specification, matched to larger and heavier balls where a wider tip makes centre contact more forgiving under the firm striking nine ball involves.
